The Whiskey Barrel
Our newly-coopered American oak whiskey barrels are the rustic choice. Their rougher finish and slender, more compact form meet the special standards for bourbon-class barrels used by Jack Daniel's® Tennessee Distillery and the Wild Turkey® Kentucky Distillery, among others. Special care is taken to select fine grain, slow-growth staves for every new barrel. We do not char the insides of the barrels used for our patented vanity products as would normally be done to prepare them for spirits. This leaves the barrel to give off the faint aroma of sweet toasted oak.
