Where do the barrels come from? All of our newly-coopered barrels come from the master barrelmakers who supply high-quality barrels to the biggest names in wine and whisky.
What is the difference between the wine barrel and the whiskey barrel? The wine barrel is a 59-gallon vessel having a bulbous form and furniture-like finish. Wine barrels are coopered to be both functional and aesthetic. The whiskey barrel is a 53-gallon vessel with a more slender form and a rougher finish. Whiskey barrels have a more rustic appearance.
Are there any special requirements for installing a barrel sink? No. The barrel sink installs like any other vanity. A proprietary rear access port allows the installer to couple into supply and drain lines from the wall or the floor.
